Today we took another class trip to the dunes and the ruins that we are incorporating into our final project for studio. This time around, we were able to soak everything up more like a sponge than the first time we visited. It was a lot more interesting, too. It's crazy to believe that there is still so much to uncover beneath the sand - definitely a city lost in time. Anyway, after documenting the site with pictures and sketches, we left the hot, hot sandy dunes and ate one of THEE best lunches at the Pension... YET. Oh my goodness. My mind, stomach, and soul were satisfied in just about every way after I cleaned those three plates.
Today was another work day in studio and Alex assigned some more work for us to do in the coming week or so. We're now really getting into our projects and site interventions... Wee! Busy weekend ahead!
